Thanks to Craig and Jane. This bungalow was close to the best snorkel spot on the coast. We even saw turtles and an octopus. What we saved on accommodation we spent on adventures. It was nice to be able to cook at home too.

Great rooms. Clean and tidy with plenty of room. Awesome private deck. Jane and Craig were excellent hosts. Super friendly and always helpful with places to see and things to do. Definitely coming again.

Most welcoming host ever! Craig and Jane were so lovely and relatable. They had lots of suggestions on places to go and what to do. They had so much available for us including games, snorkelling gear, washing machine etc. we only got to stay one night but wish we got more! They spent about an hour of their time talking to us about the islands, Australia and New Zealand. Absolutely beautiful people. Highly recommend and had the best snorkel spot for kids and beginners ❤︎

Aroa Kainga is one of the best places we ever stayed at. The bungalow and the veranda offer plenty of space and the kitchen is perfectly equipped - you'll find everything you need if you wish to cook your own meals. Location is particularly good if you are into snorkelling as the nearby beach is the best snorkelling place in Rarotonga. As we also wanted to explore other places on the Island, we rented Jane and Craig's car for a couple of days. Absolutely great to have that option! In general Jane and Craig are some of the best hosts and kindest persons we have ever met! Their friendliness is out of this world, and they are always happy to help and give recommendations for a memorable time in Rarotonga. Meitaki for the unbelievable time and all the best for the future! We really hope we can get back to Rarotonga one day to stay again at Aroa Kainga!

Jane and Craig were wonderful hosts from start to finish. Their natural hospitality made me feel genuinely welcome. What really stood out was the effort they went to after my stay. I was trying to track down a local artist whose work I had fallen in love with, and they kindly went out of their way to find the artist's details for me. That level of care and follow-through is rare and speaks volumes about the kind of people they are. If you're looking for hosts who are warm, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in helping their guests have a memorable experience, I highly recommend staying with Jane and Craig.

We had an amazing time staying at Aroa Kainga Bungalows and can't recommend it enough. Jane and Craig were absolutely wonderful hosts—so friendly and incredibly helpful. We arrived in Rarotonga well before check-in time, and they kindly let us settle in early. They were just as accommodating when we checked out, letting us stay a bit longer while we waited for our taxi to the airport. The bungalow itself was great, very clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The terrace was fantastic for relaxing in the evening with a glass of wine, and the property is just a short stroll from Aroa Beach, which is easily one of the nicest beaches on the island. We truly had a fantastic stay and really hope to come back in the future!
